Section 524.040.  Notice Requirements

§ 524.040. NOTICE REQUIREMENTS.  (a) Notice required to 
be provided by the department under this subchapter may be given by 
telephone or other electronic means.  If notice is given by 
telephone or other electronic means, written notice must also be 
provided.
	(b)  Notice by mail is considered received on the fifth day 
after the date the notice is deposited with the United States Postal 
Service.
